Academic Update
Recently Brooke House has been inspected by Ofsted, in October Mr Mark Mumby led an academic Inspection in which we were awarded an overall ‘good’ judgement.
Due to not having a senior Designated Member of staff for Safeguarding and not having updated our Safeguarding policy we achieved inadequate for Welfare, health and Safety of our pupils, this has now been rectified and the information has been sent on to Ofsted.
We received a further spot inspection from Mr Warren Clarke of Ofsted in January to look at our Boarding facilities, During this inspection we achieved an overall satisfactory judgement.
Several recommendations were made and a full action plan has been submitted to Ofsted to show how these have been carried out.
